Development Release Calender is Here!

Due to popular demand we will now be publishing and maintaining a Development Release Calendar to keep our users posted of upcoming features and enhancements.  Check back often to see how we've improved online employee scheduling and when the enhancements will be released.

The remainder of 2009 is as follows.

August 26, 2009 – 3.3.3

New Features/Enhancements:

·         HotSchedules 3rd-party Forecast Integration. This new feature allows for a third party feed of forecasted labor, sales, and guest data allowing managers to compare the schedule against the forecast without having to create a forecast in HotSchedules. This enhancement will also allow for "floating hours" data type which is not tied to specific times throughout the day. [available for select customers]

·         Punch Adjustments. This new feature will allow managers to adjust time cards captured in the POS directly in HotSchedules. Furthermore, the adjustments then must be approved or denied by the employees before they will take effect, once approved the adjustment will be imported back into the POS. Reports will be available for the managers to determine which adjustments are still pending approval. [available for select customers]

·         EM Console Beta Release. This new console presents an updated interface, includes graphical charts,Excel exports and additional custom reports. Available to HotSchedules Enterprise accounts, this new enhancement will increase visibility for individual locations at an ‘above-store’ view.

·         Certification Report. This new report allows managers to generate a list of employees with certifications ordered by date range of the expiration.

·         Employee FTP Import. Created for customers without POS integration, this interface allows for an FTP upload of a CSV file (to a HS-specified format) for nightly import into HotSchedules.

·         Forecasting by RVC. A new interface will be provided for customers that need to forecast and view sales only by revenue center. This new feature will also provide a report that details the forecast by RVC and hourly intervals throughout the day.

·         Sales by RVC in the Scheduler. This will be a custom preference that will allow a manager to view sales by revenue center in the ‘Budget Comparison’ report.
